How to Get Started With Shorter Loop Easily? Shorter Loop User Onboarding Guide

Welcome to Shorter Loop! This comprehensive guide will walk you through the complete onboarding process to get you started with building delightful products.

Getting Started

Step 1: Account Registration

First, you'll need to create your Shorter Loop account:

New users: Visit https://app.shorterloop.com/register

Existing users: Visit https://app.shorterloop.com/login

Step 2: Work Email Registration

Provide your work email address (example: drawat+100@covationlabs.com).

Important: Shorter Loop does not accept free or open email domains for registration. You must use a work/corporate email address.

Three-Step Onboarding Process

Step 3.1: Personal Details Setup

After email registration, you'll need to provide your personal information:

Full Name: Enter your complete name

Password: Create a strong password that meets these requirements:

More than 8 characters

At least 1 uppercase letter

At least 1 special character

Step 3.2: Company Information

Next, you'll set up your company details:

Information needs to be provided:

Company Name: Your organization's name. This is required!!

Department: Select your department

Role: Choose your role within the organization

How did you hear about us?: Select the appropriate option

Note: Shorter Loop generates a unique company slug from your company name. This slug is unique for each company on the platform and only needs to be set up once by the subscription owner.

Step 3.3: Product Setup

Finally, configure your first product:

Product Details:

Product Name: What's your product called?

Product Description: What's the big idea of your product?

Platform Capabilities:

Create multiple products within one company/subscription.

Each product can have multiple teams.

Dashboard Access & Next Steps

Once onboarding is complete, you'll reach the main dashboard. You'll see a welcome dialog with three options to start your journey:

Visualize your product's journey with comprehensive roadmaps

Align your team and drive actionable plans

Set up Strategy

Set objectives and uncover opportunities

Craft solutions and conduct experiments

Bring structure and clarity to connect the dots

Gather Ideas

Engage with end users and stakeholders

Set up a feedback portal for insights, ideas, and concerns

Tip: You can close this dialog by clicking outside of it to stay on the main dashboard.

Email Verification - Critical Step

⚠️ Important Email Verification Requirements

For second-time login and beyond:

You must verify your email address to use the tool

Without verification, you cannot access Shorter Loop features

Session expires after 3 days if the email is not verified

You can manually log out and verify at any time

Verification Process:

Check your email inbox for the verification message

Look for an email from "Team Shorter Loop"

Click the "Verify My Email" button in the email

Email Content:

Subject: Account verification

From: Team Shorter Loop

Action Required: Click "Verify My Email" button

Purpose: Ensures account security and optimal user experience
